NORСHEM workshop in the framework of the exhibition "KHIMIA-2019"
The annual participation in the international specialized exhibition “KHIMIA” (Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow) has already become a good tradition for NORCHEM Group of Companies. This year, as part of the business program of the exhibition, on the 16 September, 2019, NORCHEM specialists held a master class event - “NORCHEM Products in Construction Chemistry”.
Nowadays, the process of chemicalization of the construction industry has reached unprecedented scale worldwide. It is safe to say that a revolution has also taken place in Russia in the production of concrete additives. Back in 2013, NORCHEM (Zavod sintanolov LLC) became the first Russian manufacturer of polycarboxylic ethers (CARBOXINORTM). And today we produce saturated and unsaturated monoesters of polyethylene glycols, as well as polycarboxylic acids, which are the basic components for the synthesis of PCEs. With the help of esterification and copolymerization technologies, NORCHEM produces a whole a line of our own PCEs, successfully used by our partners in the production of ready-mixed concrete additives. The use of defoamers, wetting agents and air-entraining components of our production is another tool to achieve optimal technical and economic indicators in the production of concrete. The geography of supplies of our construction chemicals covers 7 out of 8 federal districts of Russia. We are also actively developing the market of the Far Eastern Federal District. NORCHEM products have found their application in the construction technologies of the CIS countries and far-abroad countries, such as Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia and Mexico.
Such an acute topic for discussion could not fail to interest the audience, and the number of visitors to the master class exceeded 50 people. Among the guests of the event were representatives of such companies as Technonikol LLC, Continent LLC, Ecoplast Group of Companies, Stromex LLC and many other manufacturers and suppliers of ready-mixed concrete additives. During the dialogue, issues of the application of different types of PCEs (for structural and ready-mixed concrete), as well as auxiliary surfactants for various functional purposes were considered. Together, experts discussed examples of the practical application of these products. A visual demonstration of the work of surfactants has become an excellent addition to the master class. A vivid communication format was provided by an active discussion of emerging issues in the "here and now" mode. It is pleasant to note that after the event, many visitors expressed a desire to continue communication and establish long-term business relations.
