NORCHEM Group took part in the 2nd Oil Dialogue on the 18th December 2018 in SKOLKOVO

The 2nd Oil Dialogue took place at the SKOLKOVO Business School on the 18th December, 2018. On the agenda there was the problem of the technologies development in the Russian oil industry.

In the spotlight of participants and officials, such as Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin, CEO of  Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov, member of Tatneft’s  Board of  Directors Nail Maganov and Tatyana Mitrova, director of the SKOLKOVO Energy centre, there were priority areas for the technological development of the oil industry in Russia.

NORCHEM is the only invited representative of chemical products’ manufacturers for the petrochemical industry among Russian and foreign companies. The Company took part in the discussion and forming suggestions for the government as part of EOR group (enhanced oil recovery methods) to ensure maximum efficiency to meet the needs of increasing oil production.  

Moreover, NORCHEM is a member of the RosSufactant project of carrying  out ASP an SP flooding for tertiary oil production implementing with Gazpromneft STC . Thus, the representatives of  NORCHEM  participated in BRT with the presentation “Certain applicability aspects of NORCHEM developments in Russian oil and gas industry”.  The results of the project show the current work on the project, highlight the problems of the petrochemical industry regarding the availability of raw materials for the production of 

 such compositions. As an example of a modern approach to digitization of processes, the Company presented the development of its own software for accelerated production of "cocktails" for EOR projects.

Regarding the results of The Oil Dialogue the need for consolidated efforts of the state and companies within specially created technological partnerships was identified. Thus, Dmitry Kozak, a representative of the Government of the Russian Federation, expressed the hope of creating a multi-sectoral synchronized project aimed at accelerating and simplifying the interaction between oil companies and ministries by the spring of 2019.
