NORCHEM GROUP TOOK PART IN THE 4TH INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION OF PROFESSIONAL AND HOUSEHOLD CHEMISTRY, COSMETICS, PERFUMERY AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS CHEMICOS-2021
NORCHEM® Group took part in the 4th international specialized exhibition of professional and household chemistry, perfumery and personal care products ChemiCos-2021. It was held on 23-25th, March in Moscow (IEC Crocus Expo). For NORCHEM® specialists, participation in exhibitions is not only a marketing strategy, but also “live” communication with customers, suppliers and even competitors, understanding market needs to develop new products, expand and diversify their own activities.
In total, within the framework of the exhibition and conferences, NORCHEM specialists held more than 50 meetings and negotiations. Finally, more than a year's break in the participation of Group of Companies in such exhibitions, caused by special measures to counter the pandemic, has finished. Active exhibition work of promoting goods and services was a good sign for the Russian market of cosmetics and household chemicals.
During the exhibition, NORCHEM® Group presented new products:
Alkylsulfate N91 based on synthetic alcohols C9-C11 is used as an excellent foaming agent in fire extinguishing agents and COP cleaning agents.
NOROXIDTM MBC-40 is an excellent alternative to lauryl dimethylamine oxide, it is a highly foamy wetting agent, emulsifier, solubilizer and thickener. The product also stabilizes and improves the foam structure, is stable and well soluble in a wide pH range. Conditioner, antistatic, bactericide in acidic media.
STENORTM TA 2/15/30 and STENORTM CA 2/8/15/18 are a series of ethoxylated hydrogenated tallow amine (TA) and cocoamines (CA) with different HLB values. Excellent detergent additives, emulsifiers of direct and inverse emulsions with varying degrees of foaming. Corrosion inhibitors. Acid thickeners. Soluble and stable over the entire pH range.
In addition, on March 24, the management of NORCHEM® took part in the meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Russia dedicated to the prospects for the development strategy of the PKP RF chaired by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade M. Ivanov. During the discussion, such important issues were raised as active counteraction to "western" competition through regulatory documents on the safety of chemical products, as well as the development of low-tonnage chemistry in the Russian Federation - the basis for providing raw materials for household chemicals.
It should be noted that the NORCHEM® project for the creation in the Russian Federation of capacities for the production of industrial fatty alcohols, acids and glycerin may become a pilot project for implementation within the framework of a "public-private partnership".
One of the factors for detailed consideration at the conference was the upbringing of a “responsible buyer” thinking about the “green” future of the planet through the purchase of the “right” household chemistry products and cosmetics packed in the “right” packaging. The only trouble is that the definitions of “correct” certification of “greenness” and other labels on the packaging (like “From the first days of life”) have not been standardized by the state, and many existing certification systems only confuse the buyer and do not guarantee satisfaction of his expectations. And all this is very similar to marketing "wars" to fight competitors, attempts to earn extra money on labeling and "certification" of products, but not at all on concern for the safety of the buyer.
