Modernization and expansion of the production capacities for the processing of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide at Zavod sintanolov LLC
On the 6 February, 2020 the Heads of Dzerzhinsk administration paid a working visit to Zavod sintanolov LLC (east industrial zone of Dzerzhinsk). This working visit was related to an ongoing comprehensive investment project to modernize and expand the capacity of Zavod sintanolov LLC.
As part of the import substitution program Zavod sintanolov LLC prepared for industrial commissioning start-up three modern processing lines for processing ethylene oxide and propylene oxide into various chemical products. They were upgraded at the end of 2019, with an increase in the production capacity of these lines to 30% with the possibility of a significant expansion of the assortment products, including using the most advanced DMC catalysis technology. The successful experience in the development and manufacture of analogues of imported complex technological equipment at Russian machine-building enterprises as part of this project phase is unique. The modernization will allow to process propylene oxide and ethylene oxide in total in the amount of at least 50 thousand tons per year.
The aim of the comprehensive investment project is the technical re-equipment of oxyalkylation lines with a deep reconstruction of production at the production site of Zavod sintanolov LLC, due to both the modernization of the main production lines and the creation of an appropriate enterprise infrastructure. This project is beneficial from the point of view of economic efficiency, expanding the range of products for Russian industry (import substitution), as well as creating new highly qualified placements at the enterprise and an increasing the assignments to the budget. Only the budget of the Nizhny Novgorod region over 5 years of the project will receive extra 72 million rubles.
Reconstruction is carried out at the territory owned by Zavod sintanolov LLC. The estimated volume of investments in the complex project will be 420 million rubles. The cost of the 1st stage of the implementation of the investment project amounted to almost 200 million rubles and was financed from the Company's own funds.
Zavod sintanolov LLC prepared an application for obtaining the status of a priority project of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and concluding a budget agreement for obtaining tax benefits on income and property tax in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation and Nizhny Novgorod Region, in accordance with Article 12 of the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the 31 December, 2004 No. 180-З “On State Support of Investment Activities in the Nizhny Novgorod Region”.
